ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team in Doha, Qatar. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for a seasoned professional looking to contribute to a dynamic and growing company. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decisions.


Lead and support the year-end closing process, and coordinate with the external auditor for final review. Review and reconcile bank accounts, ensuring accuracy of all transactions and timely closure. Supervise In-cashflow, invoicing, collections, and overall accounting operations. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in preparing and monitoring the annual budget and performing variance analysis. Support management with custom financial reports and analytical insights. Ensure all accounting records are organized, up-to-date, and properly documented. Manage accruals, prepayments, and provisions for accurate reporting. Participate in process automation and enhance ERP workflows. Set clear priorities, manage tasks efficiently, and guide junior accountants when required.

Required Profile

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in accounting and finance. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:


Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum 5 years of experiencein accounting, including auditing, bank reconciliation, and year-end closing. Experience in service industry accounting is a strong advantage. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, automation). Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Professional certifications such as *CPA, CMA, or a Master's degree are highly preferred.
