A leading Construction Company based in Doha, Qatar is looking for an experienced and qualified Accountant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in construction accounting and a strong understanding of GCC financial regulations and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Handle project-based accounting, including job costing, budgeting, and progress billing. Monitor cash flow, project expenses, and vendor payments to ensure smooth financial operations. Ensure compliance with Qatar tax laws and VAT filing requirements. Liaise with auditors, banks, suppliers, and internal departments for financial reviews. Maintain fixed asset registers, depreciation schedules, and inventory records. Assist management in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis. Support senior management with accurate and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CPA, ACCA, or CMA preferred). Minimum 5-6 years of accounting experience in the construction industry within the GCC (Qatar experience preferred). Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems. Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and GCC VAT regulations. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. NOC must be available and candidate should be ready to join immediately.
