Job Description
Busthan Al Khaleej (BAK) is a Qatar-based FMCG Distribution Company established in Doha, Qatar and is a subsidiary of Benchmark Foods Trading LLC, Dubai, UAE. Benchmark Foods is privately owned organization with business interests covering wide spectrum of industries related to food in the region, with a portfolio of interests and investments across the Sultanate of Oman, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS/GAAP. Monitor and analyze accounting data, ensuring proper documentation and record keeping. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements. Review and reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy of financial information. Prepare VAT filings and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations. Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Supervise junior accountants and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures and internal controls. Coordinate with other departments for cost control and financial efficiency.
