Job Summary: We are a leading building material trading company specialised mainly in wood seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Accountant to oversee our finance department. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing and operating financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and providing strategic insights to support the company\'s growth and profitability. The ideal candidate has a strong background in accounting, expertise in the building material industry, and a proven track record of leadership and financial management with same building material trading industry. Responsibilities: -Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, contracts and payroll -Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting -Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements -Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to management for informed decision-making -Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance and identify areas for improvement -Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with strategic objectives -Ensure compliance with accounting principles, industry regulations, and company policies -Oversee internal controls and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks -Coordinate with external auditors and assist with annual audits and tax filings -Mentor and guide sales team staff, providing training and support as needed -Stay updated on industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and best practices in financial management Qualifications: -Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master\'s degree preferred) -CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is preferred. -Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the building material or construction industry -Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations -Proficiency in financial software and advanced MS Excel skills -Know how to use Tally software and similar software\xe2\x80\x99s -Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities -Strong attention to detail and accuracy -Leadership skills and ability to effectively supervise and mentor a team -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills -Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure Job Type: Full-time Salary: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month Ability to commute/relocate:
