Key Responsibilities

:1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

Prepare and finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations. Ensure timely month-end and year-end closures. Review and post accruals, prepayments, and depreciation.

2. Accounts Payable & Receivable

Oversee vendor payments, supplier reconciliation, and aging reports. Monitor customer accounts and follow up on overdue payments. Validate vendor invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.

3. Inventory & Cost Control

Coordinate with the operations team to reconcile stock reports. Analyze food cost, wastage, and gross profit margins. Support physical inventory counts and variance analysis.

4. Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist in preparing the annual budget and monthly forecasts. Analyze variances between budgeted and actual results. Provide insights on cost-saving opportunities.

5. Compliance & Taxation

Ensure compliance with UAE VAT laws and file VAT returns timely. Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities. Maintain accurate documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

6. Internal Controls & Process Improvement

Strengthen internal financial controls and implement best practices. Monitor and improve accounting systems and processes. Support automation and digital transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Minimum 3-5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2-3 years in the F&B or hospitality sector in the UAE.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards (IFRS). Hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis). Good command of English; Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Working Conditions:

6-day work week typical in F&B industry. Office-based role with coordination with kitchen, outlets, and warehouse teams. May require occasional extended hours during month-end/year-end closures.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,500.00 per month
