About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Senior Accountant

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive UAE and/or GCC accounting experience, strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE corporate tax regulations, and proven expertise in managing end-to-end accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all accounting operations, ensuring compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations. Manage UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and GCC-wide accounting regulations (e.g., withholding tax). Prepare accurate financial statements, monthly reports, and statutory filings. Lead year-end audits and coordinate with external auditors. Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flows to support strategic decision-making. Utilize ERP systems (Tally, Fresa, CargoWise, SAP, or similar) across multiple workflows and modules.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred). Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CPA are highly desirable. Minimum 5+ years of total experience, including at least 3 years in a senior accounting role in the UAE. Strong proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools. Freight forwarding industry experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
