Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial operations for multiple restaurant outlets. The role includes accounting oversight, reporting, cost control, VAT compliance, and supporting management with financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily accounting functions: GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end closing. Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial statements (IFRS). Review POS revenue reports and monitor food & beverage costs, inventory variances, and wastage. Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Handle UAE VAT filings and ensure compliance. Coordinate audits and strengthen internal controls. Manage vendor reconciliations, payments, and customer billing. Improve accounting workflows and support system integrations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA/CPA/CMA preferred. Minimum 7 years of experience, including 3+ years in F&B or hospitality. Strong understanding of IFRS, UAE VAT, and F&B cost structures. Proficient in accounting software and Excel. Excellent communication and organizational skills. F&B experience is a must
