Job Overview:

Aseer Time Al Kuwait Restaurant is looking for an experienced

Senior Accountant

to manage and oversee the company's financial operations. The role requires solid knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, VAT compliance, and cost control. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of handling all accounting functions while ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting activities including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure timely VAT filing and compliance with local tax requirements. Monitor company expenses and revenues, providing cost and profitability analysis. Maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Supervise and guide junior accounting staff. Reconcile bank statements, supplier accounts, and customer accounts. Support management with budgets, forecasts, and business planning. Ensure compliance with financial laws, tax regulations, and internal policies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/ACCA is a plus). 3-6 years of accounting experience in the UAE. Strong knowledge of VAT regulations and accounting practices. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong communication and leadership skills.
