Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in healthcare accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of healthcare financial regulations, reimbursement methodologies (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance), and experience with healthcare-specific accounting practices. You will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting the organization's financial health.
Key Responsibilities: * Financial Reporting & Analysis:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and healthcare-specific standards.
• Monitor revenue cycle management (RCM), including patient billing, claims, and reimbursements.
• Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for healthcare operations.
• Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to healthcare financial regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute).
• Assist with audits (internal, external, and government) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Revenue Recognition & Cost Management:

• Oversee accounts receivable/payable, ensuring accurate coding (ICD-10, CPT) and timely reimbursement.
• Analyze variances in departmental budgets, including labor, supplies, and overhead costs.
• General Ledger & Month-End Close:

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage accruals, prepaids, and other adjustments specific to healthcare entities.
• Collaboration & Leadership:

• Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to optimize financial workflows.
• Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to process improvements.
