Key Responsibilities

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Handle day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations. Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements. Maintain compliance with UAE VAT regulations and manage VAT filings. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis activities. Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and ensure all documentation is in order. Review and approve journal entries, expense reports, and payment vouchers. Ensure internal financial controls are followed and recommend improvements. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist in the implementation of ERP systems and financial software updates.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, ACCA, or CA qualification is preferred. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role. Prior experience in facility management, real estate, or construction industries is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and IFRS. Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems). Advanced MS Excel skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
