Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a background in the Restaurant industry to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of restaurant operations and financial management, and will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities

:

Oversee and manage daily accounting operations including the preparation of financial statements, general ledger entries, and reconciliations. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes. Monitor cash flow and ensure that the company's financial obligations are met. Review and approve journal entries and financial transactions. Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff. Assist with tax filings and audits, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. Implement and enforce financial controls and internal procedures. Provide support in financial analysis and variance reporting. Collaborate with management to improve financial processes and strategies.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or similar certification preferred). Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards (GAAP). Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
