WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As an experienced Senior Account Manager, you will be part of the account team for one of our newest clients in the Middle East, playing a key role in the development of a long-term sponsorship strategy, as well as a pivotal part in activating their current partnership portfolio in motorsport and cycling amongst others.
You will be part of our Brand team based in CSM\xe2\x80\x99s UAE offices (with remote and flexible working options when possible), work with colleagues across the ME and from key specialist CSM teams around the world. You will report into an Account Director.
The role requires broad experience of sponsorship strategy and integrated marketing campaign activation of major sports partnerships, and you will be expected to have a strong knowledge, and experience, of activating partnerships for brands across communications, events, hospitality, rights management, product integration, and measurement & evaluation amongst other things.
General account responsibilities include:
Sponsorship activation planning, aligned to objectives, sponsor\xe2\x80\x99s target audiences, budget parameters, as well as KPI setting
Implementation and sponsorship roll out in conjunction with rights holder and sister agencies, and general account management of suppliers, budget and client reporting
Sponsorship review, interpretation of measurement results and recommendations to the clients
Role specific responsibilities include:
Management of key relationships with clients, rights holder and suppliers
Set long terms partnerships strategy, asses new partnership opportunities
Create detailed project plans and timelines for team
Oversee projects from start to finish including pre-production, planning and reporting
Strive to meet client KPI\xe2\x80\x99s and ensure activity is effectively measured
Work across additional client programmes and activations as required
Thorough understanding of client budget parameters
Regular interactions with Account Director to ensure client goals are managed consistently
Additional Responsibilities
Develop clear and concise internal and external presentations and reporting
Demonstrate appropriate behaviours, conduct and professionalism in all inter-personal, written and verbal communications
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU NEED
Passion for sport, understanding of cycling and Formula 1
Motorsport experience is a big advantage
Background in technology and/or activating partnerships for B2B and tech brands is highly advantageous
Strong experience working on large global brands, driving integrated marketing campaigns
Understanding of sponsorship, strong experience of driving clear commercial return through sponsorship
Experience in multi-market sponsorship activation, especially in motorsport
Experience working as part of integrated account teams, understanding how comms, content, events, hospitality work together in an integrated sponsorship campaign
Ability to multi-task; you will be working across a number of activities with tight deadlines
Presentation skills (both writing and delivery), internally and to clients / suppliers including use of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
Excellent communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 verbal and written
Creative thinking
Experience with negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, and venues
Positive mindset, energetic, pro-active
Fluency in English, written and spoken
