Job Summary:

The Senior AC Technician is responsible for overseeing and performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of HVAC systems, including air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration units. The role requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and guide junior technicians to ensure efficient operation and maintenance of all air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular preventive maintenance and inspections of HVAC systems (split units, package units, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, chillers, etc.). Diagnose and repair faults in air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems. Install, test, and commission new AC systems and components when required. Supervise and train junior technicians and assign daily maintenance tasks. Ensure timely response to maintenance requests and breakdowns. Maintain records of all maintenance activities, materials used, and service reports. Monitor system performance and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary. Comply with safety standards and company maintenance procedures. Coordinate with the maintenance team and other departments for smooth operations. Assist in planning and scheduling major maintenance and servicing activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

ITI / Diploma in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent. Minimum

5-8 years

of experience in HVAC maintenance, with at least

2 years

in a senior or supervisory role. Strong knowledge of various AC systems (DX, VRF/VRV, Chilled Water). Ability to read technical drawings and service manuals. Familiar with refrigerants, electrical controls, and troubleshooting methods. Good communication and leadership skills.
