Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on
air-cooled & water-cooled chillers
.
Diagnose faults in compressors, valves, evaporators, condensers, and control systems.
Troubleshoot refrigeration cycles, cooling towers, pumps, and HVAC equipment.
Safely handle refrigerants (charging, recovery, leak testing).
Install, maintain, and repair central AC units, split units, window units, and ducted systems.
Conduct electrical and mechanical diagnostics for HVAC systems.
Fabricate and install ducts and insulation when required.
Ensure compliance with UAE safety and environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate service reports and documentation.
Support emergency breakdowns and on-call duties.
Qualifications & Skills
Diploma / ITI in
Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
or Mechanical Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in
UAE/GCC
(FM or contracting background preferred).
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigerants (R410A, R134a, R22), and cooling requirements in UAE climate.
Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical drawings.
Good diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Basic English required; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage.
Physically fit and able to work in high-temperature environments.
