SENCO - Special Educational Needs Coordinator

Full-time | Immediate Start

Job Summary

Sand & Sea Montessori is hiring an experienced SENCO to support children with additional learning needs and lead inclusive practices across our early years setting.

Responsibilities

Identify and assess learning needs
Create and manage IEPs
Support teachers with strategies and classroom adjustments
Coordinate with parents and external therapists
Monitor and document child progress
Ensure compliance with KHDA SEND guidelines
Train and guide staff on inclusion and SEN practices

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Special Needs, or related field

SENCO/SEND qualification (preferred)

2-3 years SEN experience in early years or primary
Strong knowledge of early intervention and inclusion
Montessori experience is an advantage
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
