Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Systems Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing, implementing, and commissioning CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Intercom, and Smart Automation systems. The candidate must possess strong expertise in preparing BOQs and performing accurate cost estimations, and must be SIRA-certified.

Key Responsibilities:

System Design & Engineering

Design, plan, and configure integrated security systems for residential and commercial projects.

Prepare detailed system drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.

Ensure designs comply with SIRA regulations, local authority guidelines, and international standards.

Project Execution:

Supervise and oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of CCTV, access control, intercom, structured cabling, and smart automation systems.

Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery.

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues during installation and post-handover.

Estimation & BOQ Preparation

Prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and technical proposals.

Perform cost estimation for equipment, materials, and labour.

Review project specifications and prepare competitive tenders/quotations.

Compliance & Quality

Ensure all work meets SIRA standards and client requirements.

Conduct system testing, quality assurance checks, and produce handover documentation.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering or related field.

Experience: Minimum 5-6 years experience in security systems engineering in Dubai or the UAE.

Technical Skills:

CCTV (IP & analog) design and implementation.

Access Control Systems design and deployment.

Structured Cabling (Cat6/Cat6A/FO).

Intercom and Video Door Phone systems.

Smart Automation/Building Management Systems (BMS).

Additional Requirements:

Proven experience in BOQ preparation and project estimation.

Successfully completed multiple residential and commercial projects.

SIRA Certified Engineer (mandatory).

Strong understanding of local regulations and industry best practices.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and relevant security system software.

Languages: English (required), Arabic (advantage).

Driving License: UAE Driving License preferred.
