As a Security System Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our institution, its staff, and students. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing our security systems and procedures to prevent unusual activities and potential security breaches.
Responsibilities:
Conduct regular and thorough security checks in and around the institution premises
Monitor our security systems and alarms, and respond promptly to any potential risks or emergencies
Collaborate with our security team to develop and implement security protocols and procedures
Train and educate staff and students on security awareness and emergency response procedures
Maintain proper documentation of security incidents, reports, and records
Identify vulnerabilities in our security systems and provide recommendations for improvement
Stay updated with the latest security technology and trends to enhance the efficiency of our security systems
Coordinate with outside law enforcement agencies if necessary
Carry out any other duties assigned by the management related to security operations
Qualifications and Requirements:
Proven work experience as a Security System Officer or similar role
In-depth knowledge of security protocols and procedures
Familiarity with security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control systems
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency response procedures
