We have an exciting opportunity for a Security Specialist, Assistance, to join our outstanding team of security professionals based in our 24/7 Regional Security Centre in Dubai, UAE. As a Security Specialist, Assistance you will take up a fast-paced role providing and supporting the delivery of professional and effective security assistance services for clients of International SOS by addressing the security threats and risk challenges in Mashreq & Iran, East & Southern Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality security risk assessments, advice, and the coordination of security assistance on a profile and itinerary-specific basis to travellers, international assignees, domestic nationals, and client risk managers.
Receive and assess all security related calls and ascertain the assistance requirements of Intl.SOS clients.
Give security advice to callers, employers, employees and organise appropriate security assistance accordingly.
Contribute to operational readiness by carrying out tasking to maintain and develop the security provider network and internal Concepts of Operations.
Coordinate and oversee responses to security Requests for Assistance (RFAs), including the production of Plans of Action (POA) for specific client requirements.
Experience & Qualifications
Experience
Proven experience in security intelligence or related field: military, government, NGO, journalism; relevant academic studies.
Proven experience handling geo-political analysis within Mashreq & Iran, East & Southern Africa, or Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
International work experience is desired.
Qualifications
Minimum requirement of degree level (or relevant professional taring) in a field related to security, risk management, international politics or international relations.
Languages:
Fluent English (written and spoken)
Advanced professional proficiency in Arabic, Urdu, Farsi, Russian, Swahili or another regional language preferred We review applications and interview candidates on a continuous basis.
