DESCRIPTION

BUSINESS UNIT STATEMENT
To support our business strategy and digital transformation, AXA is setting up a new information security practice to ensure a coordinated response to the increasing threat of cybersecurity, enabling consistent decision-making across the organization. MISSION The main mission of the Security Desk is to:
  • Review/validate complex operational requests (complex firewall requests for example) ; if needed interacting with IT Services teams (technical ones) & Cyber Defense / Security Design & Technology team
  • Review/validate non standard working requests ; if needed interacting with IT Services teams (technical ones) & Cyber Defense / Security Design & Technology team
  • Review/validate security exceptions ; if needed interacting with Group Operations Security /Information Security Head & Security Officers
  • Perform triage on projects from the different AXA Group Operations business lines
    • First, assessing if projects needs Security teams involvement
    • If Security teams involvement needed,
      • Redirect & monitor Security Design & Technology team if architecture review requested
      • Redirect & monitor Security Assurance teams (Contract & 3rd party management / Assurance Plan & Risk Assessment / Pentest)
  • Ensure “project certificates” is delivered (onepager document delivered at the end if project fulfilled all Security Requirements)
  • Provide reporting on Lights On Activity, & on project requests

Refer the applicant to the right people to take the next step and provide a list of recommendations that must be followed to be aligned with the security policies.
Security Management:
  • In-depth knowledge of existing network architecture and security equipment
  • Ensure alignment of requests with Group Operations Security / Information Security Policies
  • Demonstrating sound judgment regarding the project's security risks
  • Have a good sense of analysis of customer needs
  • Coordinate timely and effective communications/interactions with IT Teams, Project Managers & Security family
  • Create and maintain team documents (procedures, planning, …)


Reporting Service:
  • Provide reports of the status of the requests/projects, and plan the work intake

QUALIFICATIONS

Education
  • Master degree in Networks and Security.

Overall work experience in the field:
  • Knowledge of best practices around data security and security norms
  • Strong fundamentals in network architecture
  • Essentials in Cloud architectures
  • Experience in scoping and execution of complex projects.
  • Excellent Excel skills preferred.
  • Experience using an ITSM tool such as ServiceNow is an advantage

Certification
  • Project risk management standards and good practice is highly desired (e.g. ISO/CEI 27001, ISO/CEI 27005)
  • An information Security Certification is highly desired (CISSP, CCNP Security, CEHv9/v10…or/and equivalent)

Work Ethics
  • Due to the sensitive nature of the task, the role holder must have a demonstrated high level of work ethics, secrecy and discretion. A background check will be performed.

  • Fluent English (very important)
  • A developed sense for autonomous conduct of work including management of own workload versus involving other stakeholders and issue escalation
  • Must be a self-motivated self-starter that can initiate ideas and take ownership of work
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt communication styles to varied internal and external partners
  • Apply analytical rigor to understand complex business scenarios
  • Diligent with attention to details
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and with minimal guidance
