About the role
The Security Consulting Manager (SCM), Middle East will drive security revenue growth and coordinate security consulting and managed services. They will support International SOS Consulting Middle East distribution channels to achieve profitable growth and customer satisfaction. The SCM will translate the Security Services' strategic vision into clear priorities and actions, focusing on Crisis Management, Risk Assessment and Management, Security Consulting, and Information.
Key performance indicators:

• Business Development: Identify and close consulting and managed service opportunities with commercial teams and security partners.
• Delivery: Ensure high-quality consulting solutions meet client expectations and standards.
• Expertise: Act as a security subject matter expert; engage with strategic clients and prospects.
• Professional Management: Attract, supervise, retain, and develop security consulting professionals and external consultants for sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities
Business Development:

• Partner with leaders, Security teams, and stakeholders to shape and close new opportunities.
• Provide security expertise for strategic client engagement and global collaboration.
• Support Account Management in integrating security advisory into broader engagements.

Solution Design and Delivery:

• Design tailored security solutions aligned with client needs and global standards.
• Drive execution and build scalable security consultant capability.
• Ensure quality delivery aligned with ISO standards.
• Collaborate globally to identify trends and share best practices.

Representing International SOS Consulting:

• Represent at industry forums and in the media.
• Contribute to marketing by producing thought leadership content.
• Develop strong networks and provide regional intelligence.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a diverse team of security professionals.
• Support strategic initiatives and practice development.
• Advocate for Middle East clients and provide local market insights.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of security and risk mitigation principles.
• Proven experience in on-site security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Expertise in crisis management planning and execution.
• Knowledge of business continuity and emergency preparedness frameworks.
• Effective communication skills for briefing senior stakeholders.
• Exceptional report writing and documentation skills.
• Demonstrated people management skills with cross-cultural leadership experience.
• Experience in high or extreme risk environments is highly desirable.
• Strong influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.

Required Work Experience and Qualifications

• 10+ years in security consulting, risk assessments, crisis management, and resilience planning.
• Success in delivering security solutions for critical infrastructure and high-risk industries.
• International consulting experience with cultural and regulatory adaptability.
• Managing third-party consultants and multi-stakeholder projects.
• Exposure to security operations planning and technical security system reviews.
• Business development and proposal support experience.
• Background in military, law enforcement, intelligence, NGOs, or emergency services.
• Extensive international travel or expatriate experience.

• Recognized security certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP, CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor) are a plus.
