Job Description
JOB PURPOSE Manage the dissemination of SCADs statistical products in different content formats and channels that meet the needs of various stakeholders; ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and other requirements, quality standards and schedules; maintain delivery systems and applications.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Contribute to the development of the Dissemination strategy.
- Implement the Dissemination strategy: develop and implement Dissemination plans, KPIs and objectives.
- Monitor and report on the achievement of Dissemination plans, KPIs and objectives.
- Achieve personal KPIs aligned to strategic KPIs.
- Represent the Section to Director, other sections, offices and to external parties.
- Communicate clearly SCAD\'s mission, vision and goals, role in Abu Dhabi\'s statistical ecosystem and Dissemination Section\'s mission, vision and goals, ensuring that subordinates, colleagues and other parties understand them and their respective roles in helping to achieve them.
- Agree objectives and KPIs with subordinates; assign tasks, initiatives and targets, delegating where appropriate while retaining accountability for results.
- Ensure that subordinates have the requisite knowledge, skills and other competencies required to complete tasks and achieve objectives.
- Provide technical direction, advice, guidance and support for subordinates where necessary, engaging in communication and consultation to ensure that proposals, risks, issues and requirements are clarified.
- Evaluate subordinate performance.
- Ensure that subordinates have the opportunities, resources and time required to develop themselves professionally and provide active support for employee development.
- Lead cross-functional project teams where required, including those
- Comply with Delegation of Authority (DOA), applicable legal and regulatory requirements, Finance policies and procedures and Procurement and Contracts policies and procedures.
- Propose draft Section budget; provide justifications for proposed budget amounts; propose individual project budgets.
- Monitor Section spending.
- Prepare and implement Section policies and procedures, ensuring that legal, regulatory and other requirements are embedded in Section governance.
- Monitor and control Section service delivery.
- Propose and implement improvements to the Section\'s services
- Prepare end-to-end plans for statistical product dissemination, as per the statistical portfolio and calendar, including ADGE statistical products.
- Identify and apply security requirements related to the dissemination of statistical products.
- Design content publication formats and standards for consistency throughout publications; communicate these formats and standards to ADGEs and advise ADGEs how to apply them.
- Schedule product publication with Statistical Portfolio Planning, as per the calendar.
- Coordinate with Statistics teams to ensure that key publications are prioritised and produced in accordance with identified guidelines (calendar).
- Use and advise team members on the use of systems and technologies for product dissemination.
- Use dissemination platforms for all statistical products.
- Identify potential improvements to systems and technologies in use for enhancing process efficiency and product quality.
- Lead the following tasks, providing guidance and support to team members, as necessary:
- Publishing products on SCADs publication channels: testing upload processes; ensuring that any defects in content presentation are corrected before publication.
- Arranging pre-release embargoes and conducting briefings for specific groups (with Communications).
- Notifying ADGEs and other stakeholders when products are published.
- Updating SCAD website, Customer Happiness Portal (CHP) and user portal(s).
- Monitoring portal usage and liaising with IT to address issues.
- Proposing enhancements data accessibility to allow for instant customisation, visualisation and extraction of data.
- Recommending dissemination modules to utilise mobile devices.
- Managing the CHP to allow seamless service requests, live tracking and direct communication features
- Plan and execute Section projects.
- Control project scope, schedules, quality, cost and other parameters.
- Report or supervise reporting of project status.
- Contribute to the project knowledge base.
- Prepare or supervise the preparation of scopes of work for suppliers.
- Review or supervise the review of supplier technical proposals.
- Review or supervise the review of supplier variation requests.
- Monitor and report supplier performance.
- Comply with SCAD policies and procedures, Example but not limited to HSE policy & procedures.
