We are a marine shipping company seeking a proactive and detail-oriented
Secretary
to support our
Procurement Department
. The ideal candidate should have
at least 1 year of experience in procurement or purchasing
, and be well-versed in handling documentation, follow-ups, and coordination within a busy procurement environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Procurement Manager and team with day-to-day operations
Maintain procurement records, purchase orders, and vendor files
Follow up with suppliers for quotations, deliveries, and invoices
Coordinate internal requests and ensure proper documentation flow
Update inventory and purchasing data in the procurement system
Prepare reports and support audits as needed
Maintain confidentiality and ensure timely execution of procurement-related tasks
Requirements:
Minimum
1 year of experience
in procurement or purchasing
Strong organizational and communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience with procurement or inventory systems is a plus
Ability to handle multitasking and deadlines
Must be available to join immediately
