Secondary Science Teacher

. We are looking for a motivated educator who is passionate about engaging students in the fascinating world of science and inspiring them to explore and understand complex scientific concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver high-quality science lessons that adhere to the British curriculum, promoting student interest and engagement in the subject. Utilize innovative teaching methods, including hands-on experiments and interactive activities, to enhance students' understanding and skills. Assess, monitor, and document students' academic performance, providing timely feedback and support to nurture their scientific inquiry and critical thinking skills. Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages respect, collaboration, and a willingness to learn. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and any needs for improvement. Collaborate with colleagues to develop the science curriculum and participate in environmental projects and extracurricular activities that promote science education. Engage in ongoing professional development to remain current with educational trends and best practices in science instruction.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science, Education, or a related field. Valid teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) is preferred. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in secondary science, with proven expertise in engaging students effectively. Strong knowledge of the British secondary science curriculum and effective instructional methodologies. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. A genuine passion for teaching science and inspiring student curiosity. Commitment to collaborative practice and continuous professional growth.
