The Role Secondary Mathematics Teacher We are seeking an outstanding Mathematics teacher to join the Secondary School in August 2022. Candidates need to be enthusiastic about teaching their subject to students in an inclusive school setting. Experience of teaching post-16 courses is highly desirable. Experience of teaching in an IB school is also desirable but not essential. We are looking for someone who is passionate about international education, creative in their thinking and a student of learning. • Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a PGCE/QTS or equivalent
• A degree in the relevant subject
• Experience of teaching students Grades 6 to 10
• Experience of teaching higher diploma level students Grades 11 to 12
• Experience of teaching the IB programmes would be an advantage, as would experience of working in Dubai.
• A demonstrable alignment with the ethos of the IB and a genuine commitment to international-mindedness
• Experience of using effective differentiation and assessment techniques
