POSITION
Seamstress / Tailor
LOCATION
Fujairah, UAE
The Client will arrange the work visa and relocation if not local.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Seamstress/Tailor will be responsible for constructing, altering, repairing, or modifying garments for the family, clients, and guests according to their specifications and preferences. The role includes taking measurements, assisting in fabric selection, and arranging fittings to ensure perfect adjustments and garment quality.
QUALIFICATIONS / LICENSES / SKILLS

• Certificate or Diploma in Fashion
• Degree in Fashion Design (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Seamstress or Tailor
• Experience in pattern making
• Proficient in creating and adjusting patterns
• Excellent sewing and garment construction skills
• Sound knowledge of various fabrics and sewing techniques
• Effective communication and time management skills
• Ability to work efficiently under time constraints
• Skilled in the safe use of different sewing machines
• Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
• Fluent in English

DUTIES

• Design, sew, and alter garments as per client and guest requirements
• Take accurate body measurements and create patterns for custom fits
• Conduct garment fittings and make necessary adjustments
• Advise on suitable fabrics and design modifications
• Maintain sewing equipment in good working condition
• Ensure all garments meet high-quality standards before delivery
• Work collaboratively with household staff and ensure client satisfaction
