Main duties and responsibilities

Collect and analyse current market rates for the sea & freight shipment and report to supervisor

Communication and collaboration with overseas agents

Maintain customer database in shipping lines and build a good relationship with them

Communicate effectively with shipping lines and Vessel owners for booking and follow up

Prepare and send quotations wherever necessary under guidance from Sales Person

Communicate and collaborate well with Transporters and operation staff for smooth operations process

Negotiate pricing with carriers, identify the best offer prices

Support Salesperson with drafting of Bills of Lading, including LC and others related information

Coordinate with Clients for BL drafts, equipment placements and documents for export processing

Ensure invoicing and all supporting documents are received by customers

Ability to multi-task acknowledge sales inquiries, emails, ensure all required information is available

Source market rates from shipping lines and agents, make online bookings, keep track of existing booking status

Daily update to customer on shipment status

DP world CRD and deposits accounts tallying knowledge

Be aware of the current market rates in UAE and processing good knowledge

Ability to handle job from time of confirmation till delivery

Responsible for Special equipment handling, ROO and Break-bulk sea freight shipping process

Requirement:

Minimum bachelor's degree

Minimum 2 to 3 years in UAE with Freight forwarding experience and background in customer relations

Ability to multi task and attention to detail

Working knowledge of customs and ports procedures

Language Skills : English spoken and written ( business English ) Hindi ( Spoken ) Arabic basic (verbal understanding )

Computer Skills : Dubai Trade Portal experience , Microsoft office - professional level, Major shipping lines Portals for booking and documentation .

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
