Position Overview
The SD-WAN Network Architect - Dubai, UAE will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of global SD-WAN solutions to ensure scalability, security, and performance. The role requires deep expertise in Cisco SD-WAN, routing protocols, and cloud integration, with a focus on delivering high availability, business continuity, and cost optimization.

What You'll Do

• Architect and implement SD-WAN solutions tailored to organizational requirements
• Integrate SD-WAN with MPLS, VPN, Azure, and SaaS platforms for seamless connectivity
• Design and enforce security measures including encryption, firewalls, and zero-trust architectures
• Define SD-WAN policies for routing, QoS, and application performance
• Monitor and optimize SD-WAN performance using analytics and automation tools
• Document network designs, configurations, and operational procedures
• Act as escalation point for complex SD-WAN issues and outages
• Forecast network requirements and plan for capacity expansion
• Optimize cost through efficient link utilization and direct internet breakouts
• Collaborate with vendors and audit teams to ensure compliance and governance
• Lead critical incident management, mentoring, and training of SD-WAN team members
• Define and execute long-term SD-WAN transformation strategies aligned with business objectives

Ideal Profile

• Minimum 12 years of experience in enterprise network and security infrastructure
• 4+ years of hands-on Cisco SD-WAN design and management
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security principles
• Proficient in BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP routing protocols
• Hands-on with Cisco SD-WAN fabric, controllers, and cloud on-ramp implementations
• Familiarity with Zscaler web security and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms
• Skilled in Python scripting for automation
• Certifications preferred: CCIE R&S, Zscaler Administrator, SD-WAN Architect
• Experience working with global telecom providers
• Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills
