About The Role
In this role, you will provide healthy, safe, and sanitary living conditions for all aquatic mammals while actively supporting our marine education and conservation efforts. You will also ensure you stay up to date on First Aid and PADI instruction training along with our organizational policies and procedures. You will maintain exhibits and lagoons both above and below water surface, sustain equipment related to personal and guest usage, attend meetings and trainings while assisting with our leading your own guest related programs. You will perform diving duties involving heavy lifting which require that you remain fit and healthy.
Candidates will be required to pass a physical swim test which includes an 80m surface swim, 40m underwater swim, unassisted object retrieval from the bottom of the habitat lagoon, 20 military pushups and 5 min water tread.
About You
Our ideal candidate must have at least PADI Rescue diver certification, first aid certification, have an emergency oxygen provider certification, be in good physical condition and able to pass a dive medical. We are looking for someone with strong written and spoken communication skills, is computer literate, has good organizational skills and is good at problem solving. The candidate will be a team player with strong sense of self-responsibility.
