Scrum Master Engineer
Job Description
Bachelor's degree in Engineering 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum Previous experience coaching teams or projects to success, effectively managing stakeholders Any official Scrum Certification (CSM, CSPO, CSD, RSM, PSM I) is a plus Familiarity with common Agile practices, the Scrum Guide & iterative/incremental development Understanding of the value of commitments to delivery made by a development team Understanding of the value of metrics & Agile KPIs such as velocity, sprint burndown, cumulative flow, process efficiency & happiness metrics Understanding of User Stories & the Definition of Ready Basic fundamentals of service-oriented environments Familiarity with Project Management Software (JIRA, Trello, Asana, Azure Boards, etc.) Able to garner respect from a team, guiding it to self-organisation Excellent communication & problem solving skills; Able to facilitate discussion, propose alternatives & proactively chase impediment removal. Seeks responsibility & takes ownership, valuing speed & simplicity; Leads by example. Challenges the status quo & makes it okay to disagree; Fosters a climate of safety, learning & true continuous improvement Experience a dynamic blend of work and leisure in one of the world's most exciting cities.
