EPAM is looking for a talented

Scrum Master

to join our team in Abu Dhabi. You will work on a dynamic fintech project that is transforming digital financial services across the region.


In this role, you will champion the Scrum framework, facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments and foster an environment where high-value financial technology deliverables are produced efficiently and consistently. You will ensure Agile principles are practiced by the team while supporting the development of innovative financial solutions.

This position requires working onsite in Abu Dhabi, where you will be part of a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Conduct and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives Empower the team to self-organize and make sound decisions while fostering a collaborative Agile culture Identify and remove impediments to ensure smooth and efficient workflow for fintech development Advocate for Agile principles and continuous improvement practices within the team Shield the team from external interruptions to help achieve sprint goals and deliverables Act as a liaison between the team and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of product backlog, sprint goals and deliverables

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business or a related field Minimum 3 years' experience as a Scrum Master or similar role facilitating Agile teams Proven track record of successfully facilitating Agile teams and implementing Scrum practices Experience in fintech or financial services development teams preferred Thorough understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum framework and software development lifecycle Proficiency in Agile project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps) and collaboration platforms Strong communication, facilitation, coaching and conflict resolution skills Ability to guide and influence teams without direct authority Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement effective solutions Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification

Nice to have

Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS) Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Understanding of fintech development processes and regulatory compliance Knowledge of financial services project management practices
