Overview of the role

• To develop and lead high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams to the successful implementation of the group / division products and setting the standards for the teams to follow.
• The Scrum Master will guide and coach the Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers. He/She will be responsible for the Scrum practice and increasing effectiveness of the application of Scrum within the team and will support the Team to focus on prioritized work and deliver business value.
• One of the main roles of the Scrum Master is to work with the scrum team, internal and external stakeholders to drive decision making in alignment to the product roadmap and vision. The Scrum Master will coach the team in how to self-organize and improve their cross-functional skills and will protect the team by removing impediments and focusing the team in delivery.
• As Agile is all about inspect and adapt, the Scrum Master is expected to contribute to the advancement and improvement not only of the Scrum team but also of the agile practice within the organization.

What you will do

• Coach team members in Agile frameworks, standards and practices incl. Scrum, Lean, Kanban, XP, DevOps, SAFe,...
• Guide Scrum team to higher maturity levels
• Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles
• Facilitates Scrum ceremonies with the team: Sprint Panning, Sprint Review, Daily Standups, Product Backlog Refinements and Retrospectives
• Help teams implement changes effectively and improve productivity
• Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
• Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
• Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders including vendors and represents the team\'s interests
• Remove impediments and facilitates conflict resolution
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to prepare and clarify the product backlog
• Helps the Product Manager and team achieve customer satisfaction
• Oversee and manage scope, timeline, quality, goals and deliverables that support business goals
• Monitor sprint plans and cost performance
• Prepare and present reports of progress, metrics and value delivered
• Ensure the correct setup of CICD and Agile tools for teams (Azure Devops, Jira).

Required skills to be successful

• Minimum 6 years of working experience in IT project/product development out of which 3 years have been as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in product or project development on an Agile team
• Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques
• 2 years of experience in coaching and training individuals and teams in Agile concepts and practices.
• At least 4 years of working experience with agile (Jira, Azure Devops, funretro, \xe2\x80\xa6) and collaboration tools (Teams, sharepoint)
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft project - minimum 3 years
• 3 years of experience with CICD, Automated testing, extreme programming, design thinking and other agile techniques and practices
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
• Knowledge of agile frameworks and practices (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), and understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
• Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
• Ability to analyze and think quickly and to resolve conflict
• Ability to adapt to a changing environment
• Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction

What equips you for the role

• Bachelor\'s degree in Software Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or Certified Product Owner (CSPO)
