What You'll Do

• Teach Science at GCSE and/or A Level, delivering the British curriculum to the highest standards
• Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities
• Utilize cognitive science principles and instructional strategies to enhance student understanding and retention
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and ensure curriculum continuity
• Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, implementing strategies to support continuous improvement
• Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and wider community engagement
• Contribute to professional learning communities, engaging in StepLab coaching and other development programs
• Uphold GEMS Education values and promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant subject with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent secondary teaching qualification
• Proven experience teaching the British curriculum - Science at GCSE and/or A Level
• Strong subject knowledge and commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning
• Minimum 2 years' teaching experience in a high-performing school environment
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
• Commitment to continuous professional development and collaboration
