What You'll Do

• Deliver the assigned mathematics curriculum, ensuring lessons are well-planned, engaging, and aligned with educational standards
• Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles, abilities, and needs, including ESL, gifted, and late-entry students
• Assess, record, and report on student progress, using assessment data to inform instruction
• Maintain accurate records of curriculum plans, attendance, and assessment outcomes
• Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning
• Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages problem-solving, logical thinking, and independent learning
• Collaborate with colleagues on resource development, lesson planning, and extracurricular initiatives
• Communicate regularly with parents to discuss student progress and support learning at home
• Participate in school events, competitions, and extracurricular activities to enrich student experiences
• Engage in professional development and performance management to continually improve teaching practice

Ideal Profile

• Master's degree in Mathematics with Qualified Teacher Status (B.Ed or equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years' proven teaching experience in mathematics at secondary level
• Strong classroom management and lesson planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning
• Commitment to creating an inclusive and stimulating learning environment
