Key Responsibilities
Student Support:

Provide individual and group counseling to address personal, academic, and social issues.
Identify students in need of additional support and create intervention plans.
Help students develop positive behaviors, interpersonal skills, and resilience.

Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with teachers and administrators to support student well-being.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and concerns.
Liaise with external mental health professionals and community services when necessary.

Behavioral and Emotional Development:

Additional requirements for this role:

Excellent commuication skills in Arabic & English
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, or a related field (Master's preferred).
Certified/licensed counselor (recognized qualification required by Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge - ADEK).
Minimum 2-5 years of counseling experience in a school or educational setting.
Knowledge of child protection policies and experience in safeguarding.
