Job Overview
The School Activity Coordinator will be responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive calendar of school events and extracurricular activities. Working closely with faculty, students, and external vendors, you will ensure a lively and engaging school environment that complements academic learning with social, cultural, and athletic growth. This role also supports marketing and communication by contributing to event documentation and content sharing.
What You'll Do

• Plan and coordinate co-curricular and extracurricular activities for all grade levels
• Develop an annual calendar including national events, sports day, cultural festivals, and academic contests
• Liaise with teachers, heads of departments, and third-party providers for event planning and logistics
• Oversee setup, supervision, and smooth execution of all school events and trips
• Promote student participation in clubs, competitions, and community service programs
• Ensure all activities follow school guidelines, health and safety standards, and MOE compliance
• Maintain records of student participation and gather content (photos, reports) for publications
• Communicate event details to parents, secure permissions, and ensure proper follow-up
• Support the school's marketing efforts by providing content for newsletters and social media
• Handle budgeting, purchases, and seek external sponsorships where appropriate

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Event Management, Public Relations, or a related discipline
• 2-3 years of relevant experience in a school or youth-focused environment in the UAE preferred
• Skilled in organizing and managing events with a high level of attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coordination abilities
• Comfortable with MS Office tools; design or media editing skills are an advantage
• Ability to work occasional flexible hours during events and school programs
• Knowledge of UAE education sector and cultural sensitivities is a plus
