Scaffolding Inspector
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Inspect scaffolding structures on offshore projects to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
Conduct pre-use inspections and periodic checks of scaffolding systems.
Identify defects, unsafe practices, and structural weaknesses, and report them promptly.
Ensure proper installation, modification, and dismantling of scaffolds according to standards.
Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and safety officers to maintain safe working conditions.
Maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation.
Provide guidance and training to scaffolders on safe working practices.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Scaffolding Inspector in offshore projects.
Strong knowledge of scaffolding standards (e.g., OSHA, BS EN 12811, or local regulations).
Ability to read and interpret scaffolding drawings and load charts.
Offshore work experience is mandatory.
Knowledge of safety procedures, PPE usage, and risk assessment.
UAE/GCC experience preferred.
