Job Summary:

The Scaffolder is responsible for erecting, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures to support construction and maintenance activities. The role requires technical skill, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures safely according to design specifications and work requirements. Inspect scaffolding materials and structures to ensure stability and compliance with safety regulations. Load, unload, and organize scaffolding materials on site. Secure scaffolding to structures using clamps, braces, and other fittings. Conduct regular checks and maintenance of scaffolds throughout the project duration. Follow safety protocols and ensure all work complies with company and site safety standards. Assist other construction teams when scaffolding work is not required. Report any damages, hazards, or incidents to the site supervisor immediately.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Scaffolder in the construction industry. Knowledge of scaffolding systems, erection techniques, and safety procedures. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Physically fit and able to work at heights. Good teamwork and communication skills. Certification in scaffolding (preferred). Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Scaffolding training or certification from a recognized authority (e.g., CISRS or equivalent). Minimum 2-3 years of scaffolding experience in construction.

Working Conditions:

Outdoor work in various weather conditions. Physically demanding role requiring lifting, climbing, and working at heights. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
