A Scaffolder is responsible for assembling, dismantling, and maintaining scaffolding structures to support construction and maintenance work. The role requires strict attention to safety standards and the ability to work efficiently at heights.
Key Responsibilities
Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures safely and efficiently.
Inspect scaffolding components for damage or wear before use.
Ensure scaffolding is level, stable, and compliant with safety regulations.
Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and other construction workers.
Follow all site safety rules, PPE requirements, and company procedures.
Load and unload scaffolding materials on-site.
Conduct daily inspections of erected scaffolds to ensure continued safety.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Scaffolder or similar construction role.
Knowledge of different scaffolding systems (e.g., tube & fitting, modular).
Physical fitness and ability to work at heights.
Understanding of safety regulations and construction site protocols.
Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
Valid scaffolding certification or license (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in Scaffolding (CISRS, OSHA, or equivalent).
Experience in industrial or high-rise projects.
Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment.
