Relevant scaffolding training certification (e.g. CISRS Part 1 / Part 2 / Advanced - or local equivalent).
Valid construction safety card (e.g. CSCS or equivalent).
At least 2 years of experience in scaffolding or construction
Knowledge of local scaffolding regulations and standards
Key Responsibilities
Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding systems (e.g. tube & fitting, system scaffolds, suspended scaffolds).
Read and interpret scaffold design drawings, method statements, and risk assessments.
Ensure scaffolding is level, secure, and compliant with relevant standards and legislation.
Inspect scaffolding before use and after adverse weather or alterations.
Install safety components such as guardrails, toe boards, netting, and access ladders.
Secure scaffolds to structures using appropriate ties and anchors.
Identify hazards and report unsafe conditions immediately.
Work safely at height and follow all site safety procedures.
Collaborate with site supervisors, engineers, and other trades.
Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition.
Adhere to environmental and housekeeping standards on site.
