The Project Manager has the primary responsibility to manage the profitable and effective deployment of SAP solutions to our clients through the application of SAP technology, services, and methodologies. The Project Manager is the management focal point between the customer, strategic partners and SAP during the implementation and support of SAP global, multi-site and multi-project business processes plus solutions. In addition, he/she is working with customers as a key and influential member of their business planning teams to ensure a continuing delivery of outcomes through SAP solution and delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for managing SAP S4/HANA projects or programs within defined time, scope quality, and cost constraints
• Provide assistance to the business unit during the opportunity creation phase through the delivery of scoping assessments, resource estimation, project costing, proposal and statement of work generation, and customer and partner project team evaluation
• Provide management support to internal and external rollout projects relating to service initiatives, product and technology releases, methodology rollouts, and cross-industry solution deliveries
• Demonstrate an active interest in identifying further opportunities to add value through the delivery of SAP services, through interaction with clients

Manage project delivery expectations and relationships with clients, partners, and SAP business units * Collect and record project knowledge and experience and seek to actively impart this to other members of the professional services team

• Promote the audit of proposal and statement of work documents to ensure the deliverables are achievable and that all risks are addressed
• Consult with SAP personnel and external clients on implementation strategy

Oversee partner-led implementations in the capacity of trusted advisor to the partner, client project management team, and project sponsor * Develop and implement effective and efficient risk management methods across all projects in conjunction with the Risk Manager

• Deliver project, risk review and Q-Gate services
• Ensure SAP offers the greatest value and satisfaction to our clients by leveraging the capabilities of our organization and delivering professional services in a consistent manner
• Demonstrate an understanding of customer projects and the services pipeline in order to assess the current and future business environment and initiate personal development activities where appropriate to enhance opportunities for future engagement

Experience Required:

• A minimum of 12+ years Software consulting and of SAP experience
• A minimum of 7 years of project management experience or equivalent
• Graduate or postgraduate degree from an accredited and well-known university
• PMP Certified is added advantage
• Proven record of excellent performance
• Proficiency with project management tools used by the enterprise
• Strong interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; competence in clear concise and tactful communication with senior management, clients, peers and team members
• Knowledge of and competency in project management processes including planning tasks, resource allocation, risk management, time management, financial management, HR management, quality management, monitoring and reporting, documenting and record keeping
• Prior experience in managing SAP implementations from inception to timely completion and experience in handling support projects. Excellent conflict management skills
