Responsibilities

  • Manage various project streams and change request related to technology and service transitions. Manage reporting and resolution of issues, risks, and dependencies, proactively identifying potential planning gaps, implementing mitigations to risks, and driving actions to close issues.
  • Provide project leadership to include ability to discuss and champion the business case for change to a business audience, and actively participate and execute high value business solutions. Role includes planning and deployment, budget management, risk management, systems integration, and software development.
  • Create and negotiate statements of work, planning and milestone creation, financial reporting.
  • Experience of delivering 2-3 SAP S/4HANA implementations end to end.
  • Minimum 8 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years SAP projects experience
  • Strong communication skills able to convince business, ability to work with people in diverse cultures / onsite and offshore.
  • Experience working with offshore development rationalizing development work and leading execution.
  • Assist in managing the approach, tools and processes that will be used to support business transition events.

SAP Project Manager SAP Experience
10+ years of SAP experience SAP Skills
  • 10+ years of experience in two or more SAP modules or submodules.
  • At least three full life-cycle implementation projects (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live).
  • Understanding of SAP Activate Methodology.
  • Typically acts as a module lead and may act as a team lead in workstream activities on a project.
  • Understanding of integration between modules.
  • Leads detailed module-specific configuration and master data development.
  • Ability to use Service Marketplace to create tickets, research notes, review release notes, and solution roadmaps as well as provide guidance to customers on release strategy.
  • Understands complete Module/Application specific SAP functionality.
  • Understands how to utilize SAP\xe2\x80\x99s Functionality/Integration to meet business requirements.
  • Effectively plans configuration and master data development.
  • Understands the effort/resources required to customize SAP to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensures SAP is meeting project objectives/vision.
Business Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with others.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Understanding of business processes for focus areas or multiple modules.
  • Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks.

  • Understands business functionality related to SAP module/application as well as can identify and understand touch points between modules.
  • Understands how to solve detailed SAP problems.
  • Understands and can explain best business practices, especially those that SAP enables.

  • Has knowledge and experience in the client\xe2\x80\x99s industry.
  • Can solve/can contact the resource to solve detailed SAP problems.

  • Ability to interpret requirements and apply SAP best practices.
  • Ability to identify upsell opportunities and assist in the management of scope.

  • Helps develop overall marketing messages.
  • Communicates project resource requirements to staffing coordinator/clients.
  • Ensures quality implementation (works with QA program)

  • Refer to the Performance Plan and documents for additional responsibilities of this position.
