Key Process & Technical Knowledge

The SAP Fiori Lead must demonstrate strong expertise in:

SAP Fiori Launchpad administration & governance

.

SAP UI5 development

- custom apps, extensions, freestyle apps.

Standard Fiori apps

activation and deployment across modules (FI, MM, SD, HCM, Procurement, etc.).

SAP Gateway & OData services

- design, development, optimization.

SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)

for Fiori app extensions.

Theming & Branding

(SAP Theme Designer, corporate look & feel).

SAP Mobile Services

- enabling responsive and mobile-first design.

Performance optimization

of UI5 apps and launchpad.

Security & role-based access

(PFCG, Catalogs , Groups, Spaces & Pages).

Integration with Workflow, Business Rules & Process Automation

. Knowledge of

Fiori Elements, CAPM, RAP model

.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own the

UX strategy

for SAP Fiori adoption across business processes. Lead the design, configuration, and rollout of

Fiori Launchpad

. Oversee the

development of custom Fiori/UI5 applications

and extensions. Collaborate with

functional leads

to activate, test, and optimize

standard Fiori apps

. Ensure alignment with

security, role design, and identity management

. Review and approve

UI/UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes

. Define

governance for Fiori development, theming, and change management

. Ensure

performance optimization and responsive design

for all Fiori apps. Provide

guidance and mentorship

to Fiori/UI5 consultants. Manage

transport management, versioning, and deployment

of Fiori apps. Support

testing, cutover, and

hypercare

activities for all Fiori-related solutions. Act as

UX advocate

ensuring business adoption and ease of use.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related field. SAP Certified Technology Consultant - SAP Fiori System Administration or UI5 (preferred).

Experience

8-12 years of SAP experience with at least 3-5 years in

Fiori/UI5 leadership roles

. Experience in at least

3+ full-cycle SAP Fiori implementations

. Strong exposure to

S/4HANA embedded Fiori

and

SAP BTP extensions

. Proven expertise in

UX/UI governance, design thinking, and mobile enablement

.

Technical Skills

Advanced knowledge of

SAP UI5, JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, JSON, XML

. Hands-on in

OData service creation, optimization, and consumption

. Familiarity with

CPI, API management, and integration scenarios

. Knowledge of

DevOps for Fiori

(transport automation, CI/CD pipelines).

Soft Skills

Strong leadership and team management. Excellent communication and

business stakeholder engagement

. Ability to balance

business requirements vs. standard SAP best practices

. Proactive in

UX adoption and user enablement
