Job Summary (List Format) SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP EWM solutions for complex warehouse environments.
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions and translate business needs into functional specifications.
- Configure core EWM functionalities such as inbound/outbound processes, warehouse structure, RF framework, put-away, picking, slotting, and replenishment.
- Integrate SAP EWM with SAP modules (MM, SD, PP) and third-party logistics systems.
- Manage the complete EWM project lifecycle: planning, blueprinting, realization, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.
- Coordinate with cross-functional, technical, and business teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Prepare comprehensive project documentation, including BRDs, functional specs, test scripts, and training materials.
- Provide advanced (L3/L4) support for SAP EWM processes and troubleshoot complex production issues.
- Analyze and optimize warehouse operations, recommending system enhancements and automation opportunities.
- Lead system testing activities, including UAT and integration testing.
- Train end-users and warehouse staff on SAP EWM processes and best practices.
- Ensure SAP EWM solutions comply with best practices and organizational IT standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and version control for all configuration and development work.
- Leverage strong knowledge of logistics, warehouse automation, and integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
