We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious

Sandblaster

. The Sandblaster will be responsible for cleaning, preparing, and finishing surfaces using abrasive blasting equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience with surface preparation, equipment maintenance, and strict adherence to safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Surface Preparation:

Clean and prepare surfaces such as metal, wood, and concrete by removing rust, dirt, grease, and old paint. Mask or protect areas that should not be blasted.

Equipment Operation:

Set up, operate, and monitor sandblasting machines and related equipment. Load and unload abrasive materials and ensure proper equipment settings.

Safety:

Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE (blast suit, gloves, hood, etc.). Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.

Maintenance:

Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on sandblasting equipment. Report and record any malfunctions or needed repairs.

Quality Control:

Inspect finished surfaces to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. Maintain consistency and precision in every project.

Record-Keeping:

Document materials used, time spent, and any issues during operations.

Collaboration:

Work closely with painters, supervisors, and other team members to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Sandblaster or in a similar role. Knowledge of abrasive blasting techniques and safety standards. Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
