Grit Plaster Technician to join our team in the Oil & Gas sector.
The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in construction and commissioning environments, with a focus on grit blasting and plaster application for industrial surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces for grit plaster application through cleaning, abrasive blasting, and surface profiling.
Operate grit blasting machines and tools effectively and safely.
Mix and apply grit to required surfaces in accordance with technical specifications.
Sand, smooth, and finish surfaces to meet project and quality standards.
Inspect work areas, identify defects or surface inconsistencies, and apply corrective techniques.
Interpret and follow technical data sheets, painting specifications, and safety procedures.
Ensure all work is conducted in compliance with HSE regulations, site-specific safety protocols, and industry best practices.
Coordinate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to project schedules.
