Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Shift Sampling Technician working on the AGPS power plant at the Abu Dhabi Taweelah site.

The role will involve taking water samples from across the site and assisting the shift chemists in their role. The ability to be flexible and work under pressure when required is essential.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for collection of various water samples (raw, process, final etc) within a de-salination and power plant
• Responsible for water sampling from initial B extension, new B extension, CO2 plant and hypo electrolyzing plant
• Have an awareness of sample points
• May be required to perform some simple on-site testing eg pH, EC etc
• Reading and recording values from inline water monitors throughout the plant

Skills / Qualifications

• High School educated , ideally having experience in processing or power plant
• Good oral communication in English
• Driving license advantageous
• Have the ability to work in teams under pressure and be flexible to work different working hours (night / day) shifts as required
