Essential Job Responsibilities:
Provide leadership of the day to day operations of the reception desk and guest service team
Properly open and close salon each day according to the Standard Operating Procedures
Accurately & efficiently book, change and cancel salon appointments
Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves the salon facilities
Complete knowledge of salon menu, packages, facility features and hours of operation
Utilize salon computers with skill and proficiency
Maintain salon desk bank & assure closing paperwork is correct and efficient
Answer the phone promptly and use the guest's name throughout the phone conversation
Actively promote the salon treatments, services and retail, as well as promotions and/or discounts available
Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously
Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction
Maintain clean, safe, fully stocked and well organized work area including all guest areas.
Develop ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods of time
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment
Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the salon
Assist in all areas of salon operation as requested by management
