Key Responsibilities:
Salon Operations:
Oversee daily salon activities, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to company standards.
Supervise front desk operations, appointments, and client flow to ensure efficient service delivery.
Support the Salon Manager in maintaining salon safety, hygiene, and compliance with regulations.
Team Leadership & Training:
Supervise and motivate stylists, assistants, and reception staff to maintain high performance and morale.
Conduct team briefings, assist with onboarding new employees, and provide ongoing coaching or mentorship.
Help coordinate schedules, shifts, and time-off requests to ensure adequate coverage.
Customer Experience:
Greet and engage clients, ensuring a professional, friendly, and personalized experience.
Address client concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
Promote salon services and retail products to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales & Performance:
Support the salon's retail and service sales goals through upselling and client engagement.
Monitor daily sales reports and performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
Assist with inventory control, ordering, and product stock management.
Administrative Duties:
Assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS reconciliation.
Ensure team adherence to company policies, dress code, and operational procedures.
Report any issues, maintenance needs, or policy violations to the Salon Manager.
Qualifications:
Minimum
2+ years of experience in a salon or spa environment
, with at least
1 year in a supervisory or lead role.
Strong knowledge of salon services, products, and industry trends.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Customer service-oriented with a positive and professional attitude.
Familiarity with
salon management software
(e.g., Vagaro, Mindbody, Booker, or similar).
Cosmetology license preferred but not required (depending on role and jurisdiction).
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
