We are seeking a friendly and organized individual to join our team as a Salon Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our salon, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a professional demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Greeting Clients:
Welcome clients warmly as they arrive at the salon, providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
Appointment Scheduling:
Manage the salon's appointment book, scheduling and confirming appointments for clients via phone, email, or in person.
Customer Service:
Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive experience for every client.
Cash Handling:
Process client payments accurately, handling cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment securely.
Maintaining Reception Area:
Keep the reception area clean, organized, and well-stocked with salon brochures, magazines, and other materials.
Product Sales:
Assist clients in selecting and purchasing salon products, providing information about product benefits and usage.
Administrative Support:
Provide administrative support to salon staff, including data entry, filing, and other clerical tasks as needed.
Inventory Management:
Assist in monitoring and maintaining salon inventory levels, notifying management when products need to be reordered.
Appointment Reminders:
Contact clients to remind them of upcoming appointments and confirm their availability.
Upholding Salon Policies:
Ensure that clients adhere to salon policies, such as cancellation policies and COVID-19 safety protocols
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service or salon receptionist role preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office and salon management software (e.g., Fresha)
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Knowledge of salon services and products is a plus.
