Sales Support Officer
THE ROLE:
Responsible to the Trade manager for the effective implementation of services offered to the clients that will achieve predetermined targets and budgets and execute his/her duties in accordance with instructions received from the Trade Managers
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Main Activities:
Coordinate with all overseas office to secure rates & to ensure seamless flow of cargo from the port of arrival / port of dispatch.
Respond to quotations and RFQs, maintaining target margins.
Selling all CMA CGM VAS products and CEVA X sell to Digitalized Customers.
Respond and action queries from clients/agents and provide rate quotes as and when required.
Have thorough knowledge of CMA CGM line services and routings.
Have proper knowledge of reefer /dry/special equipment and Hazardous cargo.
Ensure due diligence and compliance maintained OFEC/sanctions related countries.
Participate in Sales meetings as required.
Distribution to clients of Sailing Schedules, announcements of GRR / BAF variations / service changes
Ensure no reminders are received and avoid mistakes on quotes
Coordinate with HO/ RO on rate quotations and market information and provide proper feedback on the outcome of rate negations to Agency management /HO/RO.
QUALIFICATIONS AND PROFILE:
BacheloraEUR(TM)s or masteraEUR(TM)s degree with minimum 3+ years of shipping experience handling similar profile
Detail oriented.
You are fluent in written and spoken English and have a good command of office and IT tools.
